SGCC is a common hot-dip galvanized steel sheet material, and its full name is "hot-dip galvanized low carbon steel". Hot-dip galvanizing is a process of coating a layer of zinc on the metal surface to prevent oxidation, corrosion and enhance durability. Hot-dip galvanized low carbon steel pipes have excellent anti-corrosion properties and a wide range of applications. They are very popular in the construction, furniture, automobile manufacturing and other industries. | |||||||||

Advantage
strong corrosion resistance: the hot-dip galvanizing process causes the zinc liquid to react chemically with the surface of the steel pipe to form a compact zinc-iron alloy layer. this alloy layer is integrated with the steel matrix and has excellent corrosion resistance, which can effectively resist the erosion of moisture, acid rain and industrial pollution. compared with other coatings or electroplating processes, the hot-dip galvanizing layer is thick and not easy to fall off, which greatly extends the service life of the steel pipe. it can be used for more than 15 years in an outdoor exposed environment, reducing the maintenance frequency and cost
The hot-dip galvanizing process can form a uniform and complete zinc layer on the surface of the steel pipe. This uniform coating is more comprehensive in anti-corrosion protection and effectively prevents local rust problems. The coating has a high bonding strength with the steel substrate and is not prone to peeling or blistering, ensuring the impact resistance and wear resistance of the steel pipe during transportation, installation, and use.
Hot-dip galvanizing not only improves the anti-corrosion performance, but also enhances the strength of the steel pipe, so that it can still maintain good mechanical properties under harsh conditions. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipes can maintain stable physical properties in harsh environments and high-load applications, and are particularly suitable for high-strength engineering projects.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
SGCC material is a high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel plate. It is widely used in construction and manufacturing due to its excellent corrosion resistance and processing performance. The galvanizing process firmly attaches the zinc layer to the surface of the steel plate to form a solid protective layer, which effectively blocks the erosion of air and water, allowing the SGCC material to maintain a good surface condition in harsh environments such as moisture, acidity and alkalinity, greatly extending the service life of the product. SGCC material has moderate hardness and is easy to cut, bend and weld, and can meet the processing needs of different shapes and sizes. This excellent processability makes SGCC material an ideal choice for a variety of products such as building structures, pipes, and furniture.

Inspection and testing
1. Forming
Steel strip uncoiling: The hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel strip is uncoiled from the coil and straightened by a straightening machine.
Forming process: The straightened steel strip is gradually rolled into a tube shape through a forming machine. The forming machine usually includes several forming rollers, which gradually roll the flat steel strip into a tube blank.
2. Welding
High-frequency welding: Use high-frequency welding equipment to weld the formed steel pipes, and the welds must be uniform and strong.
Welding seam treatment: After welding, the welding seam needs to be trimmed to remove burrs and spatter generated during the welding process.
3. Heat treatment
Annealing treatment: The welded steel pipe is annealed to eliminate welding stress and improve the plasticity and toughness of the pipe.
4. Size correction
Sizing and shaping: Use the sizing machine and shaping machine to correct the size of the welded pipe to ensure that its roundness and diameter meet the standard requirements.
5. Galvanizing Surface treatment
Pretreatment: Clean the surface of the steel pipe to remove impurities such as oxide scale, oil stains, etc. Common methods include acid cleaning, alkali cleaning, etc.
Hot dip galvanizing:Dip plating: Dip the cleaned steel pipe into molten zinc liquid to cover the surface of the steel pipe with a uniform zinc layer.
Cooling: The galvanized steel pipe is cooled, usually through water cooling or air cooling, to solidify the zinc layer.
Passivation treatment: Passivation treatment is performed on the galvanized steel pipe to further enhance its anti-corrosion performance.
6. Inspection and testing
Appearance inspection: Check the uniformity and surface quality of the galvanized layer, and whether there are defects such as missing plating and peeling.
Dimensional measurement: Measure the outer diameter, wall thickness, length, and other dimensions of the steel pipe to ensure compliance with standards.
Performance testing: including tensile test, bending test, impact test, etc. to ensure that the mechanical properties of the steel pipe meet the requirements.
Coating test: Test the thickness and adhesion of the galvanized layer to ensure anti-corrosion performance.
