| Product Display- Inconel 276 Steel Rods & Hastelloy C-276 Bars
This is the premium compilation of Inconel 276 Steel Rods and Hastelloy C-276 Nickel Alloy Steel Bars. The surface finish and dimensional accuracy of the products can be very well identified in every single rod. We provide Inconel 276 Steel Rods in a thickness range of 2 inches in a length varying range of 3-36 meters.
Uniform texture and bright finish show the advanced manufacturing process and strict quality control standards adhered to in producing all these Inconel 276 Steel Rods. No matter if it is Inconel 276 Steel Rods for petrochemical applications or Hastelloy C-276 bars for chemical processing, all the products are of consistent quality and outstanding performance.
|Application
Hastelloy C-276 alloy bars are resistance bars that are widely used in chemical processing equipment. They ensure that the equipment will last and will work effectively even in the most corrosive environments typical of a chemical plant where acids, alkalis, and chlorides are present. These bars find extensive applications for building reactors, heat exchangers, piping systems, and valves, thereby guaranteeing functionality for the intended lifetime.
Such are the conditions that the oil and gas industry puts its materials through often; high temperatures, great pressure, and corrosive fluids are a few. This is why this alloy has found great use within this industry. The product boasts excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, ideal for oil and gas exploration and production equipment such as downhole tools, valves, well pumps, and tubing, all ensuring reliable performance along with extended service life.
Most of the alloy steel bars are used by manufacturing industries. A great example is the production of machine components such as shafts, gears, and tool holders; in this case, it is ideal because it guarantees high strength, toughness, and machinability. More applications for alloy steel bars are in fabricating precision parts that serve various sectors like aerospace, defense as well as medical equipment production.

PRODUCT INSPECTION
The welding performance of C-276 alloy is similar to that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel. Before using a welding method to weld C-276, measures must be taken to minimize the corrosion resistance of the weld and heat-affected zone, such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), submerged arc welding or other welding methods that can minimize the corrosion resistance of the weld and heat-affected zone. However, welding methods such as oxyacetylene welding that may increase the carbon content or silicon content of the material weld and heat-affected zone are not suitable.
Regarding the selection of welding joint forms, you can refer to the successful experience of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for Hastelloy C-276 alloy welding joints.
It is best to use mechanical processing for welding grooves, but mechanical processing will cause work hardening, so it is necessary to grind the machined grooves before welding.
When welding, use an appropriate heat input rate to prevent the occurrence of thermal cracks.
