Product Introduction
DC51 PPGI board is the abbreviation of pre-coated color galvanized sheet, which usually refers to steel products such as PPGI coil (color-coated galvanized coil) and PPGI sheet (color-coated galvanized sheet). It uses galvanized coils as the base material and is covered with colored coatings through a certain process, so that the product has more color choices, rich colors and beautiful surface, making it a wider range of applications.
Galvanized coil is a thin steel sheet that has a layer of zinc attached to its surface by being immersed in a bath of molten zinc. It is mainly produced through the continuous galvanizing process, that is, the coil is continuously immersed in a galvanizing tank with molten zinc to make galvanized steel panels; alloy galvanized steel panels are made by hot-dip plating, but immediately after leaving the tank Heated to about 500°C to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and welding properties.

Application:
DC51 PPGI board products have a wide range of applications. In the construction industry, PPGI boards are widely used to manufacture corrosion-resistant industrial and civil building roof panels, wall panels, etc. In the field of light industry, PPGI boards are used to manufacture home appliance casings, civil chimneys, kitchen utensils, etc. The automotive industry mainly uses PPGI sheets to manufacture corrosion-resistant parts. In agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery, PPGI boards are used for grain storage and transportation, frozen meat and aquatic products, etc. The commercial sector mainly uses PPGI boards for material storage and transportation and packaging equipment.
PPGI board has high strength and good deformation ability, as well as excellent bonding and welding properties. It has the characteristics of good overall stiffness, seismic resistance, thermal insulation performance, long service life, large space, short construction period and low investment. Therefore, this steel series is often used in house construction.
In addition, PPGI board also has strong corrosion resistance, smooth surface and exquisite appearance. This allows it to be used as a surface building material or structural member such as roofs, walls, sheathing, gutters, underground ducts, ventilation ducts, interior trim, fencing and steel structures.
Classified by production and processing methods:
(1) Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet: The thin steel sheet is immersed in a molten zinc bath so that the zinc layer adheres to the surface of the thin steel sheet. At present, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used, that is, the coiled steel plate is continuously immersed in a galvanizing bath containing molten zinc to make galvanized steel plate.
(2) Alloy galvanized steel sheet: The manufacturing process is the same as that of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet - hot dip plating method, but it is heated to about 500°C immediately after leaving the tank to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This kind of galvanized sheet has good coating adhesion and welding performance.
(3) Electroplated galvanized steel sheet: Galvanized steel sheet manufactured by electroplating process has good processing performance, but the coating is thin and its corrosion resistance is not as good as hot-dip galvanized steel sheet.
(4) Single-sided galvanized steel plate and double-sided galvanized steel plate: Single-sided galvanized steel plate is only galvanized on one side, has good adaptability, and is suitable for welding, painting, anti-rust treatment and processing. In order to overcome the shortcomings of one side not being galvanized, there are also double-sided differentiated galvanized panels, with the other side coated with a thin layer of zinc.
(5) Alloy, composite galvanized steel: made of zinc, aluminum, lead and other metal alloys, or even composite galvanized steel sheets. Has excellent anti-rust properties and good painting properties.
