Product Description
AISI 410 Stainless Steel Pipe / Tube is a martensitic stainless steel product that combines high strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and good machinability. With 11.5–13.5% chromium and a carbon content of 0.15%, 410 stainless steel can be heat-treated to achieve higher hardness and toughness, while maintaining excellent wear resistance.
It is widely used in pipeline transport, boilers, oil & gas drilling, hydraulic systems, and automotive parts, especially in environments exposed to atmosphere, steam, water, and oxidizing acids.

High Strength: Excellent mechanical performance, can be hardened by heat treatment.
Corrosion Resistance: Performs well against air, steam, water, and oxidizing acid environments.
Machinability: Easy to process and fabricate into different shapes.
Magnetic Properties: Naturally magnetic, unlike austenitic stainless steels.
Heat Treatment: Improves hardness and toughness (avoid tempering between 370–560°C).
Limitations: Plasticity and corrosion resistance decrease after welding; not ideal for harsh corrosive environments.
Chromium (11.5–13.5%) forms a protective oxide film, providing resistance to oxidation and stress corrosion.
Large thermal conductivity and small expansion coefficient, suitable for high/low temperature use.
Can contain trace amounts of Mo, Ti, Nb for improved stability.
AOD/VOD refining technology reduces impurities (C, N), enhancing performance.
Boiler tubes and heat exchangers
