Product Description
20CrMo is an alloy structural steel with high hardenability and no temper brittleness. However, its weldability is poor, similar to 45#, and it has a certain tendency to cold crack. However, 20CrMo has good cutting processability and cold strain plasticity.
Normally, 20CrMo is used in the tempered or carburized and quenched state, and can be used as a substitute for 20CrMnTi, 20Cr, 20MV, 20Mn2, 20CrNi and other materials. It is suitable for manufacturing high-pressure pipelines and various fasteners working in non-corrosive media with operating temperatures below 250°C and nitrogen-containing hydrogen mixture media. In addition, it is also suitable for manufacturing higher-grade carburized parts, such as gears, shafts, etc.
